Found a book?

Did you find a copy of My Policeman by Bethan Roberts?

If so we’d love to hear:

1. Where you found it.

2. Have you read it? And what you thought?

3. Are you going to pass it on to someone or leave it in town somewhere? And if so, where?

What a great book, really touching and completely drew me into the world of 1950s Brighton. Couldn’t put it down! I’ve now been recommending it to all my friends!

I was passed on a copy of My policeman by a friend and I read it faster than I’ve read a book in a long time! A really gripping and insightful read that paints a fantastically accurate, and at times troubling, picture of Brighton in the 1950s. I’ve now passed my copy to a friend who can’t put it down either! Thanks once again, CIty Reads!

This beautifully written, heart wrenching story is narrated by Tom’s two lovers: one male and one female. Bethan Roberts’ sad and poignant tale manages to skillfully conjure up 1950s Brighton. It has really stayed with me too.
